This milestone GBV report marks a critical shift from intent to action. I welcome the renewed national resolve and reaffirm our readiness to back prevention, survivor-led responses, and youth-driven interventions that deliver real impact at community level. @WilliamsRuto
Yesterday marked a SIGNIFICANT and POWERFUL milestone in Kenya’s fight against Gender-Based Violence, including femicide.
The receipt of the report by H.E. the President from the Technical Working Group on GBV including Femicide led by Justice Nancy Baraza represents more than the conclusion of a technical process—it is a moment of hope and renewed resolve. This report is a beacon of hope for thousands of Kenyans.
The recommendations presented provide a Concrete pathway to strengthen prevention, protection, accountability and survivor-centered responses.
As directed by H.E President @WilliamsRuto we will ensure that these proposals are subjected to due process in the coming few days and translated into meaningful sustainable action.
Kenya is moving forward with firm resolve to end GBV and build a kenya where safety is guaranteed, dignity is protected and hope is restored. This is a turning point and we must rise to it together.
@PSAFLIVE that is self employment at its best, government should empower him to bring immigration services closer to the people. The fella has the trust of over 582 passport holders, that's most definitely an arm of the government. #LoudThoughtsJust
No girl should learn fear before she learns to dream. This 16 Days of Activism, we stand for every child’s right to safety, dignity, and hope. Let her grow, not survive.

Everyone deserves safety, dignity, and the freedom to set their own boundaries. Your “no” stands strong, whether in digital spaces or real life. Let’s build a culture that honors consent, respect, and personal autonomy.

I weep for an Africa where silence has become diplomacy and impunity the new normal.
The African Union must rise, or risk being remembered as the union that watched a continent burn.

I weep not just for the wanton killings in Tanzania, but for the genocide in Sudan, the human rights violations in the DRC, the violence in Cameroon, and the quiet death of democracy as term limits vanish in Djibouti.
