Buying alcohol for someone under 18 is illegal. Help us to clamp down on this crime and protect young people from the harm of underage drinking
If you’re asked to buy it, refuse. If you see it happening, report it to the police on 101.

Underage drinking plays a huge part in antisocial behaviour, crime & violence in local communities.
One of the ways young people get their hands on alcohol is to ask an adult to buy it for them. This is called proxy purchasing - and it’s a criminal offence.
