Winter Break Begins one day early on TUESDAY, Feb 22
due to the recent threats towards school districts including SAISD. The district is closed this Tuesday- Friday for Winter Break. Schools will reopen on Monday, Feb 28. We appreciate your support and your understanding.

!! SCHOOL HOLIDAY ADDED !! A calendar adjustment was approved at the School Board Meeting on Feb 17th to allow Friday, March 18, 2022 to be a school district holiday. All district facilities will be closed that day. Students will return to class on Monday, March 21, 2022.

This is San Augustine ISD. Due to the possibility of hazardous road conditions, including ice, there will be a 2-hour delay for the start of school tomorrow, Friday, February 4.

The JV Girls game vs Joaquin is canceled for tomorrow's (Jan 11) HOME games. The JV Boys game will start at 5pm followed by the Varsity Lady Wolves and Varsity Wolves. GO WOLVES!

BASKETBALL SCHEDULE CHANGES There is only one Lady Wolves Var game on Tuesday vs Grapeland at 5pm. Also, only JH girls play Thursday in Joaquin at 5:30pm (no boys games). Lastly, the two Saturday Lady Wolves home games (JV&V) vs Groveton will be played Friday at home at 5pm.

Ms. Pickens has been teaching Pre-K for two years at the Elementary. She says that "I enjoy laying the foundation for my students. As it's being built, I get to see the light bulbs turn on and the happiness students experience when they notice they can do it". AWESOME & CONGRATS!

Fifth Graders in Mrs. Wilson's class won the door decorating contest! They also created projects for a novel.

CompSci teammates Joel Deville & Casey Nance medaled placing 10th at the Houston contest against top 4A-6A teams from around the state and 36 other teams. Khang Doan & Patrick Williams placed 11th in the Novice Division. Others include Anthony, Brittan, Camden & TJ. CONGRATS!!
