I have a few photos from that session, including one of Chisato with all the other participating artists raising up their arms together in a show of strength. I will send it to you privately. Until now, I was not familiar with the 1978 Izu Oshima Offshore Earthquake. I can understand why your father would want you to see the impact so that you would have greater awareness of the power of earthquakes. I did travel through the Izu Peninsula once during the 2020 tour. There was a cave I wanted to explore but the seas were too rough so the expedition was cancelled. I hope to return to Izu Peninsula one day.
