@EDUwithEmily My KINDERGARTEN teacher did that to us. No play time. We had to go to recess and do the work in front of her, have her check it, and then redo it if we were wrong. Then we had to sit and watch everyone else play, even after we made up the work.

I’ve often thought about how little sense this makes. Even with the best intentions, a group of people who have no experience as educators cannot possibly understand the real, lived weight of their decisions.

@LenovoLegend You have to look @ a different insurance company. I have had a few tickets and 2 accidents and I pay less than $100 too, and for full coverage. Look into Progressive.

@JustinAion @LieslMcconchie Do you have the ability to keep your kids at home? You could have them do cyber-school through K12. It’s tuition free and considered a public school.

@JustinAion @linda_deavers This is so interesting. I’m in NJ, about 40 min from PA border and we have to mask indoors, even though we’re 97% vaccinated. Lunch is still indoors, but they broke lunch into 3 periods to reduce number of Ss in the space. It’s nuts how neighbor states can have such differences.

@meshellow I have a series of nightmares where I reteach the same lesson each night in a new way, because my ads still aren’t getting the content/grasping the skill. I should also mention this nightmare series happened while I was just a rotating sub, I didn’t even have my own Ss/lessons 🤦‍♀️

@WeAreTeachers 10th grader w/ IEP that was being completely met. Mom called me a failure during conferences, then asked me to not make her child read the novel or expect him to listen to the read alouds or summary/analysis videos I posted, or write paragraphs or essays. Only bullet points.
