She looked nervous, kept checking her phone, and seemed like she had been crying.

“Are you Daniel?” she asked.

“Yes, ma’am. Can I help you?”

She glanced around before slipping an envelope into my hand.

“There’s $5,000 inside. I need you to do something for me tonight.”

I immediately tried to return it.

“Ma’am, I don’t understand.”

She took a deep breath.

“My name is Victoria. My husband is hosting a private family dinner upstairs. Everyone there believes he has a perfect family, a perfect marriage, and a perfect life.”

She paused, staring directly into my eyes.

“But tonight, I want you to destroy that illusion.”

I was confused.

“What exactly do you want me to do?”

She swallowed hard.

“When my husband asks who you are, tell him your mother’s name is Rebecca Miller. Tell him you were born twenty-five years ago.”

I frowned.

“Why would I tell him that?”

Her eyes filled with tears.

“Because twenty-five years ago, my husband had an affair with a woman named Rebecca. And he has spent his entire life pretending it never happened.”

I stepped back.

“Then why bring me into this?”

Victoria’s voice dropped to a whisper.

“Because Rebecca was my younger sister.”

I stared at her, unsure what to say.

She continued.

“She died three months ago. Before she died, she gave me a letter. Inside it was a photograph of my husband holding a newborn baby.”

My stomach tightened.

“Are you saying your husband has another child?”

Victoria nodded.

“And I believe that child is you.”

I looked at the envelope in my hand.

“You could have hired a private investigator. Why offer money to a hotel waiter?”

For the first time, she looked ashamed.

“Because I already hired one. He confirmed everything. But my husband controls the family money, the lawyers, and even the people who are supposed to protect us.”

She grabbed my wrist.

“Tonight, he plans to announce that our only son will inherit the entire family business. If you are who I think you are, that announcement is a lie.”

I wanted to walk away. This was no longer a simple favor.

Then the elevator doors opened.

An elderly man in a tailored suit stepped out, followed by several guests.

Victoria immediately straightened her dress.

“That’s my husband,” she whispered.

The man approached us with a smile.

“Victoria, darling. Who is this young man?”

She looked at me.

I remembered her instructions.

“My name is Daniel Miller,” I said. “And I think you knew my mother.”

The smile disappeared from his face.

He stared at me for several seconds before whispering a name I had never told him.

“Rebecca?”

Victoria went pale.

Then her husband did something neither of us expected.

He dropped his glass, grabbed my arm, and said:

“Where is the letter she promised never to show you?”

Before I could answer, a young man rushed out of the elevator.

It was his son.

He looked at me, then at his father, and spoke six words that changed everything.

“Dad, you told me he was dead.”

🚨Theory ; THAT AIN’T CAP.

In the newest Avengers: Doomsday promo, Cap calls Mjolnir to his hand and asks Thor if it bothers him. Thor answers, “You know it does.”

However, neither reaction seems to match their characters.

Steve wouldn’t intentionally rub his ability to wield Mjolnir in Thor’s face, and Thor wouldn’t hold a grudge against Steve for being worthy.

This feels like a classic Marvel misdirection.

What if that’s actually Loki disguised as Steve?

Loki’s plan might be to pose as Cap to lure Doom out, but Thor knows what’s really happening and hates the idea because Loki plans to sacrifice himself AGAIN.

Thor isn’t angry with Cap. He’s angry because he knows exactly what his brother is about to do.
