CABINET APPROVES IRP

Tomorrow, 18 October, we will brief the media following Cabinet approval of the Integrated Resource Plan. Once gazetted for implementation, #IRP2019 will create the much-needed policy certainty within the electricity generation sector. #InvestinSAEnergy

The IRP was tabled in Cabinet Committee yesterday. It will be tabled in Cabinet next week. The Plan will lay the foundation for investment in power generation. Such an investment should have the impact of lowering the cost of doing business in our country. #MakeEnergyWork
