We are entering a new era—radically different from all previous periods, both socially and technologically. Artificial intelligence is advancing so rapidly that even the near future is difficult to predict.
Unfortunately, AI is increasingly being applied to military technologies, absorbing enormous human and financial resources and contributing to conflicts over territory and natural resources—conflicts that are increasingly difficult to end.
Does humanity have an alternative? Yes.

Instead of using AI to intensify competition and warfare over Earth’s limited resources, we could employ it as a pioneering tool for peaceful space exploration. Human knowledge, energy, and investment could be redirected toward establishing future settlements on suitable planets and moons within our Solar System.
AI could help humanity move beyond destructive competition and toward cooperation, discovery, and long-term survival.
