The biggest highlight? SJ G. '34 uncovered a 4,500-year-old atlatl dart — an incredible archaeological find! Even Mr. Nick, who’s been guiding for 20+ years, had never seen a discovery like it!

The SPC Winter Pep Rally recently brought the Upper School community together to recognize & celebrate our winter athletes as they prepare for championship competition. We are proud of their dedication & wish all of our winter athletes the very best as they represent SAS at SPC.
Our Lower School Soup-er Bowl concluded last week, and we’re so proud of our Highlanders!
Students brought in canned food, all in support of the Capital Area Food Bank. Whether students donated for the Patriots or the Seahawks, the real winner was the community.
📚💛 Learning in action! Last Monday, 3rd graders took a field trip to BookSpring, where they saw firsthand how the books they collected are shared with the wider community.
Thanks to the generosity of families, students delivered 2,000 books donated during the Book Drive.

From cleaning up city green spaces to assembling care packages for our unhoused neighbors, Highlanders showed up in the true spirit of MLK Day On—serving with purpose and compassion.

On just their 2nd day back this semester, AP Environmental Science students —along with members of the Sustainability Council — headed out on a field trip focused on waste management & conservation. Real-world learning, right where sustainability happens.
