Interesting update in the Mizkif case with the Magistrate Judge's recommendations:
✅ Asmongold to win his motion
❌Emiru to lose her motion (likely didn't buy her "emotional truth" argument)
✅ OTK and Mythic may compel arbitration.
Still a long road ahead for Mizkitty
The EU basically lied about the purpose of 'Stop Killing Games' after Live Service Game Studios met them in a secret meeting and then lied about what its asking for—to be clear they 100% know the purpose is not keeping games playing forever: its allowing gamers to maintain games.
Examples of this would include: allowing players to run private servers for example there is ZERO reason to not allow this, furthermore, there is no other product where you can magically be denied access to the product (although subscription models are pushing for this) its 100% in bad faith and anti-consumer as the only concern for Game Devs is selling their new (DEI) slop and closing old games down because their new ones suck.
I predict this will cause not only backlash on the EU and Live Service Games but also dramatically increase piracy, modding and hacking, because the truth is—gamers can probably maintain these games on their own, there will always be a genius programmer autist who will get the job done.
This is basically just GamerGate 2.0 at this point.
Security researchers have warned that attackers are using Steam Workshop to spread malware through Wallpaper Engine wallpapers.
Some fake wallpapers are uploaded as “Application” wallpapers, which can run programs on your PC.
These files have been used to install malware, steal Steam accounts, collect personal information, and even mine cryptocurrency.
Some of the malicious wallpapers were downloaded thousands of times before being removed.
To stay safe:
>Download wallpapers only from creators you trust.
>Be extra careful with “Application” wallpapers.
>Scan Workshop files with up-to-date antivirus software.
1.3 MILLION PEOPLE ASKED THE EU TO STOP COMPANIES FROM DELETING GAMES THEY PAID FOR.
THE ANSWER WAS NO.
The "Stop Killing Games" initiative wanted one thing: when publishers pull the plug, don't let them remotely destroy copies people already bought.
The European Commission's official response:
- It will not require publishers to keep games playable - says forcing them would go too far
- Reason given: publishers' copyright and IP rights come first. Your purchase comes second.
- The solution: a voluntary code of conduct, developed together with the same industry that kills games
- Plus an awareness campaign reminding you of the consumer rights you supposedly already have
1.3 million signatures. Years of work. Multiple hearings.
And the part that says everything: according to the campaign, Ubisoft got a seat at a closed-door meeting with the Commission before the decision. The 1.3 million people who signed did not.
Publishers can still brick your purchase whenever they feel like it.
If buying still isn't owning, then at least now it's official.
Now wait a minute...wait a minute Deme
DEME NOOO
You can't just false-flag your own fan's Clip Channel, all because a clip they posted just so happen to make you look bad.
We are really witnessing in real time, a Vtuber Brand Vtuber - A Boulder Queen if you will.
Bad news, The European Commission has responded to the “Stop Destroying Videogames” initiative and decided not to make new laws about games becoming unplayable after support ends.
Apparently those sneaky meetings with Ubisoft CEO and other companies did their job.
Instead, it plans to bring together consumer groups and the video game industry to discuss better end-of-life practices and possibly create voluntary guidelines.
The Stop Killing Games campaign said this was the outcome it expected. It is now shifting its efforts to the European Parliament, where it hopes to add protections for players through the upcoming Digital Fairness Act.
All because members of the EU met with lobbyists and Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillmot behind closed doors and likely had their hands greased.
Pathetic, embarrassing, corrupt behavior by institutions meant to protect the people instead choosing to protect corporate interests.

Did not expect to see this at all but here we are
While the details haven’t been confirmed, I’m excited that hopefully Republicans can focus on domestic policy again.
Voters put Republicans in office to improve their daily life. Let’s do what we promised, get gas prices back down, home prices down, and bring American jobs home.
Today's video is about how @sleepy_devo has come out in open support of assassinating @realDonaldTrump and @JDVance and how I reported him to law enforcement both in the US and his native Canada:
Funny thing about Vavle I found recently.
They're not listed as members of the ESA or Video Games Europe, the two groups lobbying against Stop Killing Games.
