Chaired a detailed meeting with officers from PHE, I&FC, Ground Water and PHE Mechanical departments, along with local residents of Tailbal to exclusively discuss and address the prevailing water crisis across the entire Tailbal area.

A comprehensive review of the existing water supply network, ongoing challenges, and potential solutions was undertaken. I directed the concerned officers to prepare a comprehensive and sustainable plan to augment water supply and ensure long-term relief for the residents.

The officers have been asked to submit detailed proposals at the earliest, for which funds will be released from my Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to facilitate timely execution of the required works. Resolving the water crisis in Tailbal remains a priority, and all necessary measures will be taken to ensure adequate and reliable drinking water supply for the people.

Presided over a Public Darbar alongside @JKNC_ Gen Secy Hon'ble MLA Khanyar Jenab @AliMuhammadSagar at Lashkari Mohalla, Nishat. Officials from SMC, UEED, JAL SHAKTI, LCMA, EDUCATION, HEALTH, SOCIAL WELFARE, R&B etc were present in the darbar. Nearly, 30 lacs were approved on the spot for road upgradation through concrete work at Doud Mohalla and Lashkari Mohalla with 3.5 lacs for laying new water supply pipes in the area. Many exigencies and major issues were discussed in detail and a follow up to those issues on every administrative level was assured to the locals.

Delighted to launch ZipplyNow, Kashmir’s first quick-commerce app, at Harwan today. The platform promises ultra-fast delivery services across Srinagar, with orders reaching customers within just 15 minutes, marking a significant step in Kashmir’s evolving digital and retail landscape.

Our youth are brimming with talent and innovation. We must support and encourage such entrepreneurial initiatives that create opportunities and contribute to the region’s growth. Congratulations to Ahsan Mirza & Sheikh Majaaz on this remarkable venture, and my best wishes for its success.

Chaired a one-to-one Public–Officers Interaction Meeting at Astanpora, Tailbal, where local residents raised several important issues concerning developmental works, public services and healthcare infrastructure in the area.

The officers present took detailed note of the grievances and demands put forth by the people. They were directed to prepare detailed proposals for the identified works so that funds can be released from my Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for their timely execution.

Officers from PHE, I&FC, Health, SMC, PDD, LCMA, R&B, and City Roads departments attended the meeting and assured prompt follow-up on the issues raised.

Met the Worthy Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir,Prof #NeelofarKhan Sahiba and apprised her of the concerns raised by the residents and youth of Saderbal and Umer Colony regarding access to Mirza Bagh Stadium and the other playground within the University campus.

I am highly grateful to the dynamic Vice Chancellor for her prompt intervention and for assuring the early redressal of the issue. This comes as welcome news for the residents, particularly the youth of Saderbal, Umer Colony and adjoining areas who have been eagerly seeking a resolution to this matter.

Her positive response reflects a commitment towards encouraging sports activities and providing better recreational opportunities for our young generation.

Attended the Public Outreach Programme chaired by Hon’ble Minister for Health & Medical Education, School Education, Higher Education and Social Welfare, J&K Ms @sakinaitoo Sahiba today at Banquet Hall, Srinagar.

During the interaction, I raised several issues of public importance, including the widening of the Koolipora–Khanyar Road, concerns relating to CDF fire victims, the need for PMAY assistance to be disbursed through cheques instead of DBT, issues concerning the CAPD Department and various other matters affecting the public.

I am highly grateful to the Hon’ble Minister for conducting such outreach programmes, which provide a valuable platform for direct interaction between the public and senior government officers, ensuring timely redressal of genuine grievances.

Salman Ali Sagar Leads Hazratbal Delegation to Chief Minister; Expresses Gratitude for SDH Hazratbal Relief, Seeks Mala bagh-Ellahi bagh Road Widening, Functionalisation of Mini Maternity cum child care, Hospital Zakoora, LCMA Denotification in Phaak area and Rural Status for Chatterhama Ward.

Honourable MLA Hazratbal @salmanalisagar today led a delegation from Hazratbal to meet Hon’ble Chief Minister @OmarAbdullah and expressed gratitude for the relaxation of the 100-metre buffer zone restriction, paving the way for the resumption of the long-pending construction of SDH Hazratbal.

The delegation also raised several important public issues, including the widening of the Malabagh–Ellahi Bagh Road, making the Mini Maternity and Child Care Hospital at Zakoora functional, denotification of LCMA jurisdiction in the Phaak area, and reclassification of Ward No. 73, Chatterhama, as a rural block.

The Chief Minister assured the delegation that all the issues raised would be examined on priority. Salman Ali Sagar expressed hope for a positive outcome on all the matters projected before the government.

Called on Hon’ble Chief Minister J&K Jenab @OmarAbdullah Sahab today along with a delegation of esteemed civil society members from Hazratbal, who expressed their gratitude for resolving the long-pending issue concerning the construction of the Sub-District Hospital at Habak, Hazratbal. The project marks a significant step towards strengthening healthcare infrastructure and improving public services in the constituency.

We also discussed various developmental issues concerning Hazratbal and sought the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s continued support for the overall progress of the area.

I also led a delegation of the Jal Jeevan Mission Contractor Association, which met the Hon’ble Chief Minister and discussed matters related to the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission across Jammu & Kashmir, highlighting key concerns and seeking his intervention and support.
