@AlleyDalley There is a series of books (trilogy) by Kenneth Oppel) that isn’t a fantasy like Potter but it stretches the steampunk and sci-fi genre so well that it seems believable. The first book is Airborn, followed by Sky Breaker, then Starclimber. The kids I teach in that age liked it!
