Joining the Sea Cadets as an adult volunteer is important primarily because volunteers are the backbone of the organisation, enabling the delivery of life-enhancing activities that help young people develop essential life skills and character. Volunteering also offers significant benefits for the volunteers themselves, including personal development and the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications.
