Made possible using GameMaker's Sequence editor, which means Flash isn't involved at all.

@TrewDomko All of the existing OST songs will stay in the game unchanged, there will only be a handful of new songs in places that didn't have any music or for new things we added (particularly for Rebirth Mode)
@RosyRose0202 for Classic Mode, the bosses will be left unchanged excluding improvements for the autoscroller controls.
as for the cutscenes, they're being remade in-engine with Gamemaker's Sequence editor (basically a mini Adobe Animate). they're widescreen, 60fps and almost 100% accurate.
Rebirth Mode is a fresh reimagining with new sprites, level design, an improved story and more, all while staying true to the original vision.
