No appointments available with a doctor until June at @LittlewickMC. What a joke of a service. How they can be rated as ‘outstanding’ by @CareQualityComm shows how flawed the system is
@POLITICOSPRING @maggie_erewash @adamthompson111@Keir_Starmer@RishiSunak That surgery is a disgrace. Played a key role in shutting down our walk-in centre, then failed to deliver on any of their promises of greater access to doctors. The sooner @CareQualityComm audit them, the better

No @EMASNHSTrust ambulances available tonight. Was told 6hr wait, and then after 3hrs, cancelled and told to go to A&E. Even the police have had to bring someone to #derby hospital who’s been hit on head with hammer, cos no ambulances available. #broken
My mother was in @nottmhospitals for 12 weeks, before she was discharged to a care home and I was finally able to see her. The detrimental impact of those 12 wks with no visitors is immeasurable - and yet it’s still happening, with visitor ban now in place again #heartbreaking
Nine weeks today since my mother suffered a stroke - and I still haven’t been able to see her and hold her hand during her time of need. Why is nobody listening @KirstieMAllsopp ?
@HSJAnnabelle How convenient. NUH under investigation for various failings, and then @TracyTaylorNUH blames COVID… when did she stop getting paid? @Independent@Channel4News
@MrPLC @HumblePie_cL85 @RingsingC @Channel4News@Independent No doubt @TracyTaylorNUH still on full pay though… imagine what could be achieved with all that money wasted…. Wonder why not being reported by any media? Presumably under embargo? @nottslive
Nottingham’s biggest hospitals have been warned by independent inspectors that they are failing to meet legal standards of patient care.Inspectors from the @CQCpressoffice have ordered @nottmhospitals to improve “governance” & “culture” at Queen’s Medical Centre & Notts City
@BootsSebJ comments may be astonishing, but are absolutely true. Anyone who disputes has clearly not tried to access a GP during pandemic. GPs classed as front line workers - but don’t know how: stayed at home, phoned patients… not good enough. Thanks @Boots for filling that gap
@MartinBell1966 I think he said what a lot of patients have been thinking and experiencing for the last 18 months… have you tried getting an appointment to see a doctor? Not easy…

The less good news?
The Delta variant is spreading more widely across the country.
So, we still have visiting restrictions in place. Where possible we want to support one person to visit or accompany their loved one or friend.
@nottmhospitals Have you tried speaking to staff on a ward? They are too busy… and family shouldn’t have to beg to see their seriously ill loved ones. #compassion#patientexperience
When will ALL hospitals allow visitors again? Great to see so many trusts changing their rules, but frustrating that the likes of @nottmhospitals do nothing. Is it a reflection of their lack of interest in patient experience? Any other UK hospitals still refusing visitors?
A month later later and still no update on changing visitor rules. We get it - COVID kills, but the impact on patients when they are left in hospital with no visits or interaction from loved ones can be just as damaging - and fatal. Wake up @nottmhospitals @TracyTaylorNUH
When you said you were in the process of updating your visitor process ‘now’, was that a typo? Three weeks later and nothing… @nottmhospitals How come other hospitals can make it happen? @RobSissons1
