Peace is the sweetness of life.
We all need it to achieve our potentials. Without it is like darkness, a void we fill with fear and despair. Without it we succumb to our animistic survival instinct, turning against each other for basic needs.
Peace is everything. #IntPeaceDay

Having one of these 2 @hodansomali or #MohamedAdow as the next mayor of #Mogadishu would be a good sign for the city, since they have worked with the late mayor, it would mean institutional memory and some sort of continuity to the efforts of the late mayor, may he rest in peace

Our sister @HodanTV was brutally murdered in Somalia by terrorist groups who felt they were doing God's work. It was she who was doing the real jihad, not these fanatics... https://t.co/yuvDt54mKW

Nothing can justify the slaughter of peaceful protesters in Sudan. Worse still, a crime committed on the eve of so Holy a day. The people of Sudan know who the perpetrators are and they also know who gave licence to the perpetrators. https://t.co/U9UsTZcFgs

[Sagal Ashour @SagalAshour]

We can now factually say Farmajo have destroyed any political & security progress made by Hassan Sheikh & Sh Sharif. We can factually say the current gov has set back Somalia 10 years. There is a general feeling that Al-Shabab will take more territory & cause further instability.

@SagalAshour: Somali children deserve to live in a society where they are safe from violence and harm. Harmful practices like FGM pose severe health and psychological implications on young girls. Let's create awareness and keep our girls safe from all forms of harmful practices.
