A lot of parents are too busy working nonstop, chasing money or having more children while their teenagers raise themselves through the internet, peers and social media. Then people act shocked when these kids look for escape, validation or belonging in drugs, gangs or unhealthy environments.
@Temmy_omoileri Late diagnoses are common because many Africans don’t seek medical help until they’re seriously ill. Preventive care and yearly checkups are often ignored. Our diets are also heavily carb and sugar based. We need education, prevention, and a shift in mindset around health.

This biopic was powerful. All his life,we were fed the negative narratives, the surface level version but not the root of what Michael Jackson actually went through, from his childhood to his health struggles. If people want a deeper understanding, that side of the truth has always been out there.
