Buying clothing from places like SHEIN because “it’s cute and cheap and they will grow out of it so fast” is the mindset that takes over. But just as we can do better with choosing what they eat, we can do better with choosing what they wear!!!

To the moms who are advocating for healthier snacks, food dye bans, all organic produce for their children… can I just say where is that same energy for the clothing you are putting on your child’s body? We don’t talk about how fast fashion is such a huge problem.

I love the way kids just say what they’re thinking. I’d never spoken a word to these kids at VBS & they just turn and say things to me like “my dad is taking me to a baseball game tonight” “I’m going to go see In and Out 2 this week” “I peed for two minutes straight this morning”

Never knew the true depth of what it takes to be a breastfeeding mom. This journey is no joke. I often think “I would give anything to not have to pump right now” but then I think “but would I give up doing the best thing for my baby?” Absolutely not.

I’ve been so careful what I’ve been eating for the last 10 weeks since my pregnancy heartburn got terrible that I honestly think the meal I’m most looking forward to after I pop this kid out is all the chips and salsa my heart desires and a big burrito
