Last month at DALO 2026 in Denmark, @navalnewscom was able to interview Sir Nick Hine of @Babcockplc about the AH 140 program.

During the interview (Minute 8:30), Hine mentions that he was visiting Chile "next week" to discuss the units.

Note that back in August at DALO 2026, Sir Nick Hine of @Babcockplc (Builder of the Type 31/Arrowhead 140 program) was scheduled to visit #Chile to discuss Babcock's offerings for constructing frigates at the ASMAR yard.

The AW139 contract is expected to be completed by the end of this year, with bidding to replace the aging UH-1.
