This ceremony marks a significant milestone in their journey as field epidemiologists and public health experts. Over the past two years, they have committed themselves to mastering the art and science of disease surveillance, outbreak investigation, and public health action.
The 18th cohort of the Advanced Field Epidemiology Training Programme comprised eight dedicated public health professionals, all of whom had the opportunity to present their research at the completion ceremony today.

Closing off the ceremony, the HOD delivered a heartfelt congratulatory message and awarded certificates to the trainees, recognising and celebrating their hard work and dedication.

The Completion Ceremony for the 4th Cohort of the Intermediate-level FETP was a resounding success! This milestone not only celebrated the dedication of our trainees but also highlighted the vital role the programme plays in building a resilient public health workforce.
The discussion highlighted a critical pillar of public health - the ability to move beyond raw data and transform it into meaningful, actionable evidence. It also underscored the importance of strengthening analytical capacity within the province.
During the Intermediate FETP Completion Ceremony, subject matter experts took part in a dynamic roundtable discussion on the theme: “Translating data into evidence for planning and decision-making.”
