@makemytrip Shocking and unacceptable experience with @makemytrip and Panwar Tours & Travels.
Passenger: Mrs. Sushma Marandi
The bus operator called at around 12 PM on the day of travel and informed us that the departure time had been abruptly preponed from 8:00 PM to 4:00 PM, causing major inconvenience and disruption to our travel plans.
The ordeal did not end there. The AC of the so-called AC Sleeper bus did not work throughout the entire Delhi–Patna journey. Due to the extreme heat and suffocating conditions inside the bus, Mrs. Sushma Marandi fell seriously ill, suffered repeated vomiting during the journey, and had to be taken to a doctor after reaching the destination.
To make matters worse, the ticket clearly mentioned a journey time of 17 hours 30 minutes, but the bus took approximately 26 hours to reach Patna. A delay of nearly 8½ hours, combined with a non-functional AC, made the journey physically exhausting and hazardous.
The condition of the bus was appalling and completely unfit for a long-distance journey. This was not the service that was advertised and paid for.
We paid for an AC Sleeper ticket and also purchased travel insurance. We therefore demand:
• Full refund of the ticket fare.
• Immediate processing of the insurance claim for the illness, medical consultation, and suffering caused due to the operator's negligence.
• An investigation into the conduct of the bus operator, the condition of the vehicle, and the misleading service commitments made to passengers.
Passengers should not have to risk their health and safety after paying for a premium AC Sleeper service. This represents a serious deficiency in service and a complete disregard for passenger welfare.
We expect a prompt response and resolution from @makemytrip.

At this point, what exactly is the need for additional funds? Where do you think the money is being spent now? Is it for social media campaigns and online messaging, or is it being used to arrange transportation, logistics, and other support for youths gathering at places such as Jantar Mantar?
