Help! @BristolCouncil have introduced a new pinpoint system that does not seem to include historic maps such as tithe maps and the 1949 street maps. How can I continue to access them? Have tried messaging @BristolCouncil on X but the message failed.
Thank you to the @FirstBSA drivers of buses no.6 and 7 stopping at the Lypiatt Rd bus stop on Whitehall Rd on 27/1/2025 between 09.30 and 10.15. All bus drivers were very careful not to splash through a huge puddle in front of the bus stop.
Puddle reported 2 @BristolCouncil
Bit of an 'oops' moment for @bbcnews on @BBCRadio4 just now re. piece on ship named 'Agincourt'. Speech played from Henry V was from the siege of Harfleur NOT Agincourt.
For the first time in my experience I am having problems with the @BNArchive website. There were a couple of hiccups logging in and then all my searches resulted in the message shown on the attached screenshot. @BNArchive any forecast on when your service will be back?
Tried completing @BristolWater 's general enquiry form and apparently their Captcha software doesn't think I am human enough to submit an enquiry. Here's the link if anyone else wants to try https://t.co/GM6vKu7MuV to find out if Summerhill Rd really will be closed.
Dear @BristolWater your signage and roadworks info are confusing. The sign on Summerhill Rd, Bristol, BS5 says the road is closed for 3 days whereas this https://t.co/0oMhRFN6dn says there will be traffic lights on Summerhill Rd and the footway will be closed. Which is correct?
@FirstBSA@BristolCouncil Thanks to this cancellation I just made it to my dental appointment thanks ro a brisk walk down the Kingsway and subsequent use of A CAR! There being no way to reach my dental practice in Brislington by bus from St George since the 36 (now 5) route was drastically shortened.
Less than. Impressed with @FirstBSA the 45 bus expected at Cherry Gardens by 16 walkers at 13.41 to take us back to Bristol simply failed to turn up.
No info anywhere. Now on 42 to arrive much later at our destinations.
If @FirstBSA had a camera noting the number of people waiting in a @BristolCouncil bus they'd make better decisions on how to shuffle their buses.
Note we had one visually impaired person with us who had get off at a location she didn't start from (lead walker in the photo).
@FirstBSA The 8.04am 45 from Nags Head Hill at the Harcourt Rd bus stop going Cherry Gardens. The 12:30 45 service stopping opposite Willsbridge Mill on the way in to Bristol.
Credit to @FirstBSA . I am quick enough to criticise when things do not go well so I thought I should also give praise when due. I thought there would be delays on the 45 today due to Remembrance Day ceremonies. Both buses I caught were spot on time despite roadworks.
@misterduncan@SteveReedMP@CHazelgroveMP@ClaireforTAY@TroopersHill It's "lush". Some photos of yesterday's hardworking volunteers on https://t.co/ZW8Li2CjAm.
@bristolparks do a great job grasscutting, bin emptying and more. They have started this year's winter nature conservation tasks.
Join us on a work party. https://t.co/rSwlDtxxSq
A huge thank you to @bristolparks team who achieved a tremendous amount of winter nature conservation work at Troopers Hill last week.
The work they do on the Local Nature Reserve is all directed by the conservation management plan for the site https://t.co/W1NA3Rm29c.
We recommend this talk on Bristol's Bugs by @mrraybarnett . https://t.co/GpF9WDwrQb @mshedbristol
We've loved Ray's moth nights on Troopers Hill.
This talk has the added advantage of being able to choose to go the M-Shed or stay in the comfort of your own home to join in online.
