Services are under strain due to #COVID19 but the six-week postnatal check should continue as a high priority service.
It was included in the GP contract for the first time this year as a result of our #HiddenHalf campaign. We want to make sure mums get the support they need.
Absolutely. We discovered during a mental health crisis of a #SureSTEPS mum that she had been discharged from mental health services. No notice or follow up. We are convinced that if she had been richer, whiter and from a professional background this would not have happened.
We have launched a new infographic for anyone wanting to explain what infant mental health is and why it matters. #IMHAW2020

Shameful scare inducing tabloid rubbish. Maternity services continue despite COVID19. If care and visiting has been reconfigured at this time it is for the safety of mum, baby and staff. Ignore the press, listen to your midwives and obstetricians @RLHMaternity @RoyalLondonHosp

@Brthcompanions @AIMS_online@birthrightsorg We increasingly see this issue. Impact obviously much worse for those who don’t understand ‘the system’, leading to growing mistrust and disengagement. Viscous Circle.
