@ACEcomiccon @Manda_Satine@AngeliqueRoche Have you watched any of The Clone Wars in preparation for your return as Obi-Wan? If so, what have been your thoughts on the show and its portrayal of Kenobi?
@nerdist@dave_filoni @amy_geek Would you ever consider helming Clone Wars miniseries so that we could see things that have been mentioned but not covered on screen?
(I'd love to see a miniseries exploring Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Satine's year on the run)
@GovParsonMO Please stay the execution of Walter Barton, who is likely innocent, on May 19. He should not be executed until his case is thoroughly reviewed. https://t.co/GD7qLhoECT
@xtrillasudurix Yes, Cate Blanchett is still my first choice for live-action Satine (given the obvious similarity to her in design), but I also would not be averse to casting Nicole Kidman and leaning into the Moulin Rouge parallels completely!
@Luke_Overweg Actually, his real name's "Dashiell," a name used more commonly in the mid-20th century when the movie takes place (there was a popular detective writer named Dashiell Hammett during that time).
I like to think they named him Dashiell first, and the nickname was a stroke of luck
@broccolux They're generic names today but they were two of the most popular names for babies in the 1930s, which is when they would have been born.
But the real kicker? Bob = "bright fame" (German), Helen = "bright light" (Greek), Lucius ="light" (Latin). They're literally the Golden Trio!
@kassidyjae I'm a new fan (just finished The Lawless today) and literally just came looking for content that would break my heart again.
Thank you. You have succeeded. I love them so muuuuch!!
*gross sobbing*
@racheljwelcher Completely agree! With much cringing, I can get through The Dinner Party.
I watch Scott's Tots just through the part where Stanley loses it because Stanley laughing is my favorite part of everything ... and then I *have* to turn it off!
@WeRepSTEM Yep. I also think it serves to imply that the speaker is *more* articulate than the person they're directing the comment towards, since they were supposedly able to recognize the other person's articulateness.
@R_Denhollander Two of my favorite people discussing such a tragic but important topic. What a wonderful talk. As always, thank you both for your courage and pursuit of justice. Many blessings. @terrycrews
