Applications are now being accepted to fill the vacant seat on the Bexar Central Appraisal District Board of Directors. The term expires December 31, 2026. This is an uncompensated (voluntary) position.

Applicants must:
• be available to meet on the second Monday of every month at 1:30 pm, with the last meeting of every quarter at 6 pm
• meet the requirements of the Texas Property Tax Code and Texas Election Code 141.001 which includes, but is not limited to: a resident of Bexar County for at least 2 years, does not owe delinquent taxes for more than 60 days, and is not an employee of a tax unit, unless as an elected official or member of the governing body

Applicants cannot have served, in whole or in part, on the Board of Directors for five previous terms.
Applicants, or their spouse, cannot have a current contract with a taxing unit or have a substantial interest in a business entity that has a contract with the district.
