My husband still regrets coming back to Nigeria 2019 to visit his family,
He was kidnapped that same year, was later released after paying huge amount of ransom which affected his traveling back ,
When we think, things are getting better again for him to go back,
His elder brother was kidnapped, ransom was demanded ,
Hubby sold all his resources and assets just for his released because his four kids was still very young and the wife,
But even after the ransom was paid, he was still killed, no body to retrieve,
At the same time, hubby lost everything to them, and was also in so much debit which has been cleared by God's grace
Instead of staying without anything, he decided to borrowed little money and get second hand Keke which he is managing now but has been in a bad shape since last week
So to the f@@l that was calling me an Igbo beggar just because I committed on a giveaway, may Nigeria happen to u too
This was my husband before Nigeria happened to him and now πππ

On this day in 2021 I had just rushed from Abuja to Makurdi for my under grad project defence
We got a call that was had to do it and I was at home in Abuja because I was really sick
I had malaria. Really bad. The kind where I was begging for medication and if you know me you would know that to me to ask for meds, I was at deathβs door
The nurse gave me chloroquine injection and I reacted so badly. The itching I felt was almost worse than the malaria I had.
Infact inside the bus as I was travelling I had to explain to people that it was malaria drugs that was making me scratch.
This was post covid. And people were looking at me weird. So I had to announce my condition
On this day so much was going on.
I was still sick
I lost so much weight because of it
I was so itchy
I was so worried because one of my courses had come out as an F and I was wondering if I would spill over and not graduate with my class
I was wondering if I would go for service
So much was happening and I was so worried
Now as I look at these pictures I smile because all those things are now a non issue
All those problems that looks like mountains are not even in my radar anymore
And so I want to encourage you today. Maybe so much is happening in your life right now that seems like mountains.
I pray for you, in no time, you will look back and smile because God would have taken all those sorrows away and fill you with testimonies and gratitude
Amen
PS : sometimes, you need to go and look at the past, pictures and all that and it will just show you how much God has brought you through.
Blessings!
πMany thanks for celebrating me yesterday on my birthdayπ. Celebration shall not cease from our homes in Jesus name...The celebration was massive and never knew people love me this way.
Keep enjoying God's grace.
Sir Ken.
