@h3rodotus@xspotsdamark I’m not saying they could be from Greece ethnically. But a black person being in a movie about the odyssey is just the same as a white American from Boston. Neither are accurate but the odyssey is mainly fake. Race isn’t the whole basis other the story.
@h3rodotus@xspotsdamark Two characters literally in the odyssey are black Africans and they’re stated to be also. Eurybates and King Memnon. how is it acceptable or accurate to have a black person in the movie?
@h3rodotus@xspotsdamark This is false. A black person could’ve had Greek aristocracy. A black person being held in high regard a mythical story about the Mediterranean is a very real possibility. Sad how we’re going backwards these days
