They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
As we look forward to the UK's new era, we reflect on the sombre events of the last ten days, including the one minute silence we held at the side of the Town Hall on Sunday evening in memory of Her Majesty The Queen. May she rest in peace.
#GodSaveTheKing
As part of the National Moment of Reflection, you are welcome to join me for a one-minute silence at 8pm on Sun 18 Sept in the Town Hall gardens in #Scarborough to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and reflect on her life and legacy.

We've paid out £5,500 from the Mayor's Community Fund to eleven of the borough's groups and organisations that rely on charitable donations to continue the excellent work they do in their local communities.

I have fond memories of The Duke of Edinburgh’s visit to the borough in 2010, when he attended the official opening of @ScarboroughOAT with Her Majesty The Queen. A wonderful day was had by all who attended and the Royal couple certainly seemed to enjoy the fantastic (3/4)
