Sheriff’s Dive Team is assisting Ontario Fire with a missing person search in one of their catch basins. Day 2 is focusing on sonar operations to clear large areas of water. Conditions are perfect and teamwork between agencies is top notch👍👍.

Sheriff’s Dive Team responded to a vehicle partially submerged in the aqueduct last night. It was not known if it was occupied or not. Divers recovered a OHV and found it was not occupied and was stolen out of Helendale.
Sheriff’s Dive Team assisted Inyo County with a body recovery at one of their lakes near Big Pine at an elevation of over 10,000 ft. A subject was found deceased in the water after being reported missing by his group. A very technical, yet successful operation.

The sheriff's dive team and San Bernardino County auto theft task force conducted a joint operation today in the high desert and recovered 15 vehicles out of the aqueduct spanning over 14 miles of waterway. A press release will follow soon.
