San Bernardino County’s Land Use Services Department is continuing its second round of community presentations on Assembly Bill 98 truck routes, the state’s regulatory framework for logistics and warehouse development. 🚚
Following an initial outreach phase completed in 2025 in collaboration with Board of Supervisors district offices and community groups that focused on proposed truck routes and gathering community input, this series of meetings is centered on the practical steps for implementation and the enforcement process that will accompany the law.
AB 98 establishes statewide standards for truck routes designed to direct truck traffic away from homes, schools and other sensitive areas whenever possible. As planning efforts move forward, the Land Use Services Department is preparing for on-the-ground implementation. 🛣️
