π The Village of South Blooming Grove Fire Department - SBGFD Department 60 participated yesterday in an extensive pump operations training exercise conducted by the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control in partnership with Orange County Fire officials.
The training brought together fire departments from across Orange County to strengthen coordination, water supply operations, hydrant procedures, tanker operations, hose deployment, and mutual aid response. These exercises ensure that firefighters from different agencies can work seamlessly together during large-scale emergencies, operating as one team when every second counts.
South Blooming Grove firefighters were proud to train alongside departments from throughout the county, reinforcing their commitment to professionalism, preparedness, and public safety.
We thank our dedicated volunteers for giving their time to protect our community!
