Idea: an opt-in trust layer on top of the existing web (ICANN DNS + HTTPS).
Users join via a browser extension, sites via a small NGINX proxy module. No new TLDs, no root changes, no fees. Everything infra-critical open source.

@benvspak When trying to compete with anything that has MILLIONS sunk in you need to find the pain point other users have on these platforms and start there. What are the issues you are having with these platforms? You can start there!

I am building a few things!

My core project is a new CA for automation so for example.

Website A opts in to the HNCA
GoogleBot opts in to the HNCA

Now we have a cryptographic way to actually tell if a bot is legitimately from where they say they are. robots.txt would change as well requiring enforcement. If website opts in to use CA then a bot would be required to use the CA to get into said website. This would give us a better audit trail. The internet is a one way secure network it needs another layer due to mass automation in todays networks.

– Separate control plane from content
– Redundant DNS across providers
– Fail-open static fallbacks
