"HAYLEY, YOU'RE A DARLING!" π€£π€£
Praise indeed from our team manager Geoff as @Hayley_McLean takes the baton home in first place in the women's 4x100m π₯

A terrific performance from Jade Ive means #SBH take full points in the women's pole vault.
A final clearance of 4.25m is also a outdoor season's best.
As always, it is great to see athletes thank officials at the end of a competition. #NAL
In other news, how about this for a tight finish?
In the men's 400m B-string, Havering's Akeem Akintokun runs 50.20sec to edge Newham's Emmanuel Sosanya, who finishes in 2nd with 50.28sec.
Still all to play for at this afternoon's @Nat_Ath_League match in Chelmsford.
Team manager Geoff Morphitis is deep in discussion with the Shaftesbury Barnet backroom staff. Most athletes, coaches, and team managers are wearing jumpers and jackets because there is a strong wind here in Chelmsford, and it is not at all warm. #NAL
Ben Rochford seems to be recovering OK after the men's 400m π He ran 49.57sec to take 3rd behind Havering's Matthew Agnimel in 2nd (48.84sec) and Newham's Andrea Panassidi in 1st (48.37sec). #NAL
GB international @Hayley_McLean has now won NINE NAL 400m hurdles races as of today's Championship East match in Chelmsford
Hayley has won 11 NAL races if you include all distances and if you include before 2021, under the old UK Women's League, that number goes up to 16!
#NAL
Men's team manager Geoff Morphitis is also hard at work making sure the team is organised at today's #NAL. Work will soon begin on recruiting reluctant athletes for the 4x400m later on πΆβπ«οΈ
Close finish! Steven Garrett takes 2nd place with a time of 53.93sec in the men's 400m H A-string. Chelmsford's Onyeka Okoh finishes 0.02sec ahead to take the win for the home team. #NAL
Our athletes are out and ready for the opening match of the @Nat_Ath_League campaign here in Chelmsford. First on the track we have Hayley McLean and Steven Garrett in the 400m H. #SBH βͺπ΄β«
