@Wordsofrizdom This is a useless statement. You could switch it out and say "Traders obsess over risk/reward ratio. They want 4, 5, 6RR per trade. But they only have a 5% win-rate."
Focus on expectancy and following your own rules. That's the only thing that matters.
Why is every influencer on my timeline telling beginners to overleverage on prop accounts because "that’s the game"?
That’s not the game if you’re new or haven’t even secured consistent payouts yet.
Overleveraging without experience will just hurt you and your bank account.
Take your time. Build a proven edge. Build the right mentality.
Once you’ve stacked enough payouts and actually know what you’re doing, then you can size up.
But doing it without skill or cushion just means you’re putting money straight into the prop firm’s pocket.
There are 4 spots left on the waitlist.
Here's what to expect once you get started.
1) Watch a few educational videos I've created explaining the way I view market structure
2) Take an in-depth interactive quiz that you'll be required to pass to continue to the next step.
3) Backtest trades until you have a minimum 60% win-rate with 1:1 risk reward. (This will be verified with the in-house journal)
More instructions will be provided after you finish step 3.
Important to note that you will have zero access to my time and I'll only answer messages if I deem it important.
A lot of time has been spent on making this roadmap as self-serve as possible.
See you on the other side.
Be careful with who you follow on this platform, not everything that shines is gold
Follow reputable traders with a somehow proven record of profitability if you want to extract some value from here
@StoicTA This is the type of content that people need to see more of. Each of those actions (revenge trading, switching timeframes, etc.) are the real account killers. Looking for the holy grail will not make you profitable.
@DaveTradesOpts If you bothered to open the post you would see that's what he said GURUs say. Seems I'm not the one who is lacking in reading comprehension.
People respond to what seems like a shortcut to profitability. I think that's a marketing stunt. What inevitably happens is that people join hoping for a quick fix for $200 only to not find profitability again.
You said it yourself. The guru carousel. I'm not trying to burn bridges, just calling it like I see it.
I don't like the false expectations being set and the guru vibes. 30R+ per week. Become profitable in 4 weeks. Sounds like a bunch of nonsense. I'm sure SS works to some extent I just don't like the over-the-top marketing.

Breakdown of Multi-Timeframe SBS (A.K.A SS) by @j_intradaytrade
I'll be referring to SS as Multi-Timeframe SBS since we don't need more acronyms
If you haven't already, please read the basic explanation of @StoicTA's SBS in this post, then come back

@KennyTrader_ Definitely. That short relief is especially prominent when hitting the first 10 backtested trades of a new system and getting an 80% win-rate haha
@DaveTradesOpts @DodgysDD I like this take. The one issue that is still very real is that quantum computing will eventually be able to crack the cryptography that is the foundation of blockchain technology which will render it useless.
