Constraining MoK to 10 chapters will almost certainly negatively impact the story, but it’s a decision made in the context of having limited time to commit to it. By no means a new struggle to creative arts
I like the thought of P getting little vivid and immersive flashes of Carlo’s life in his mind — I won’t be doing that in my fic, but I’d totally read that in someone else’s
I guess I’m mostly concerned about the scope I’ve given myself. I’m cramming a lot into 10 chapters, so it may be inevitable that some characters and elements aren’t very fleshed out. Maybe people can forgive it
There are some aspects of Lies of P which I wonder if I should keep the same in my fic — ex. Side characters with extremely narrow/limited purpose, Gemini with mostly superfluous dialogue, etc.
Technically I can improve on these aspects, but it’s convenient to keep them the same
I take a lot of notes about what I want to include in each chapter & other stray thoughts that come to mind. You’d think with all that prep, my chapters would be structured neatly, but I often change things in the moment. I also forget to include quite a bit of planned material
I have a lot of Promeo headcanons that are sitting unused in my mind. I think given enough time, I’ll be able to fit most of them into one-shots and the tail end of “Memory of Krat”, but some might never get mentioned. I will try to depict them all at some point
In my heart of hearts, I do think that the long silver hair best suits P post-Rise of P. My decision to depict him with his short silver hair in comms is mostly a matter of aesthetic preference. I may apply a lore/head-canon justification, but it’s ex post facto
