Extended interview: Former Nebraska senator Ben Sasse has metastatic pancreatic cancer. He spoke with 60 Minutes' Scott Pelley about where America has been and where it could still go.
MN had a $17.5B surplus in 2023. Up to $9B in fraud has been cited. Since 2020, ~45,000 residents left — including thousands of $200K+ families. MN already has the 7th highest income tax. Now a 1% annual wealth tax? This will push more middle-class and high-earning families out. This is absurd. If it happens, prepare for MANY families and businesses to leave this state.
House Democrats are trying to raise taxes again - this time by taxing unrealized gains and imposing an annual tax on Minnesotans’ net worth, not just their income.
@RCC_LSU@CoachRock73 Sometimes it's not even a year. I've witnessed kids get a scholarship and a program pull it five months in. Sure, maybe they didn't explicitly pull it but they pushed the kid out so effectively accomplishing the same thing.
