Things were getting pretty suffocating with The Beatles right around this time, so he decided to clear his head by tag-teaming onto Delaney & Bonnie’s tour as an uncredited sideman.
They took this photo on the very first day of the UK tour, right around their shows at the Royal Albert Hall. Did anyone out there actually catch this lineup on the Delaney & Bonnie tour back in the winter of '69? If you have any stories or memories from those shows, drop them in the comments! 👇
