A7: I believe most of the responsibility falls on the school since technology is such a large part of everyone's life, both inside and outside of school. They need to be aware of the potential dangers out there, and schools offer the best place to obtain that info. #tldeuno2019
A6: There is an online version of the textbook I use that has additional online resources available to them to use, but it is just supplementary and not something I regularly draw from. #tldeuno2019
A4: I have never experienced Virtual Reality, but I think it would be a really fun thing to try. I can't think of what I could use it for in Calc 1, but for Calc III I can maybe see uses because that course deals in the 3-D setting #tldeuno2019
A2: I don't know if this counts, but I use WebAssign to give them additional problems to work on after I have completed a lesson.
If it doesn't then I would most like to try Kahoot! to review some concept/definitions. #tldeuno2019
A5: The only real experience I have with Twitter in education, besides just browsing hashtags, following educators, etc., has been this chat. But, just this chat has shown how we can use twitter to connect with others and learn new things. #tldeuno2019
A4: One advantage of twitter is that we have a large pool of teachers to follow and work with who, just like us, are continually trying to be better educators. #tldeuno2019
A:3 One hashtag I follow is #flippedclassroom because I like the ideas and examples that people post with that hashtag. I've been trying to implement some flipped classroom strategies for certain topics in Calculus. #tldeuno2019
A2: Like I said, I had a twitter for years but never used it mostly because I didn't see a use for it. But, now looking at educators accounts and education hashtags, I've gotten a lot of ideas to use in my class. #tldeuno2019
A1: I follow Dr. Allison Mello who is a math educator. I follow her because she posts interesting tidbits from talks about math education and other helpful pieces of advice. #tldeuno2019
