i got a new phone with double the storage. best part of that is i can now view all the pics and videos of my dogs without going to the cloud and it’s honestly been very emotional in the best way.

imagine hating me and i’m just playing with dirt and plants in the garden, cutting flowers for bouquets, and chasing frogs while drinking mimosas.

me: do you remember when you were house shopping like 14 years ago and you took me to a dilapidated house in the woods near a lake that definitely had mold?

boyfriend: no, not at all.

tragic update: lil mama’s 4 babies hatched and were thriving for nearly 2 weeks. unfortunately a 40° night seems to have brought them to their demise.

good news: we now have “green bird” that has built a nest with 5 eggs in our greenhouse.

best part of spring is naming the random critters habitually around the house. so far, we have:

•lil mama, the bird with a nest above the porch light
•biscuit, the squirrel with a limp leg & tail that visits the bird feeder
