WATCH | I witnessed an incident of police brutality yesterday at Bolo Shops in Kuwadzana Phase 3.

I recorded a video of two police officers beating and kicking a man. One of the officers is Constable Mlauzi, they are both stationed at Dzivaresekwa Police Station.

The incident started after the officers found the man sitting near a beer bottle. They accused him of drinking alcohol in public. The man explained that the bottle was empty and insisted that he does not drink alcohol.

Despite his explanation, the officers still attempted to arrest him. The situation then escalated, and the officers began beating and kicking him.

THEIR NEW CARS ARE FAILING AND BREAKING DOWN LIKE SECOND HAND CARS AND THEY PUT THE BLAME ON THEIR CUSTOMERS
I bought a brand new Suzuki, to my shock in less than 4 months it had a coolant problem
When I took it back to them they tried to pin the blame me
I desperately fought back until later they admitted that it wasn't my fault
By then I didn't even want to pay for a new car that kept breaking down so I requested them to change it(which is well within my rights)
But they didn't wanna give me another car until I decided that I'm canceling the deal because of broken trust
Only then that they were willing to change the car but by then I was exhausted and fed up I wanted out totally
Then they told me in order to cancel I must give them R90 000 for "scratches" that don't even exist, I totally refused since the car had no scratches whatsoever
I could see that they were taking advantage of me because I'm a woman
Thereafter they sent me from pillar to post then they told me to send them emails which they still ignored
I'm still in a battle because I'm paying installments for a new car but I was actually given a reject malfunctioning car that is with them in their garage
Then on top of that they tried to scam me

So far, we have received reports from two citizens, on separate occasions, who claim they were arrested by ZRP officers without being given a clear reason.

Both individuals say they were charged with an obstruction-related offence and were required to pay a US$30 fine before being released.

The first person said he was buying food when he was arrested and taken to a police station. He spent more than five hours in the police cells before being released after paying the US$30 fine.

The second person said he was arrested while buying airtime and was also required to pay a US$30 fine before he could be released.

In both cases, the police officers reportedly referred to Section 46 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act.

I need your help. On 1 May 2026, I bought a Honda Fit GP5 from a man named Welly for US$8,200. His picture is included in the comments.

Just three days after buying the car, I travelled to Masvingo. As I was passing through Beatrice Tollgate, the alarm at the tollgate was triggered and police officers, together with ZIMRA officials, impounded the vehicle.

ZIMRA informed me that the car had been fraudulently imported and issued me with a seizure form. I immediately contacted the seller. He came to the scene and promised to refund my US$8,200. However, from 4 May up to now, he has not refunded me. He no longer answers my calls or responds to my messages.

I later discovered that the addresses he provided on the agreement of sale were fake. I reported the matter to Harare Central Police Station, and a criminal case has been opened against him. Unfortunately, the police have been unable to locate him.

I am appealing to anyone who knows Welly or has information about his whereabouts to contact the nearest police station or get in touch with me on 0775525999. Any information that could help locate him would be greatly appreciated.
