If you go into the woods at night what you don't expect to see is @BASICS_SCAS@SCASBASICSER201 Jamie @SCAS999@SCAS_HART & an Ambulance rescuing an injured Horse Rider from a very remote location in the dark! (This very much the "Good" bit of the track) @scacharity@BASICS_HQ
The team has just completed 500 responses since the start of our financial year (1st of April). 500 responses in just 151 days... great work and commitment from our #volunteer responders. Huge thanks to our sponsors and supporters @SCAS999@scacharity@HelipadHELP & @BASICS_HQ
Jamie ER201 was the first Enhanced Care asset to arrive at this incident for @BASICS_SCAS@SCAS999 & assisted until the welcome arrival of @dsairambulance Wishing the pilot well.

@ExxonMobil_UK Fawley is helping fund advanced life-saving care with a £10,000 donation to @BASICS_SCAS This will help equip local volunteer Daniel Reeve, a BASICS Enhanced Care Paramedic, with specialist equipment to respond to serious and life-threatening incidents. @scacharity
Thanks to @wbairambulance whose lovely crew came out to support us in the rural depths of Mid-Hampshire this evening. Happily their critical care skills were not needed this time but always great to catch up (albeit briefly) with like minded colleagues. @scacharity@BASICS_HQ
July's heatwave didn't stop the team from being able to respond and assist at 112 incidents last month, our second busiest month on record - oddly only beaten by July last year (we're starting to see a theme here). Thanks to @scacharity and @HelipadHELP for keeping us in business
Great examples of joint working yesterday for @BASICS_SCAS & Hampshire IOW Air Ambulance with @SCASBASICSER201 dispatched by the Critical Care Incident Desk to a Cat 1 Incident + remote support and then later a joint response to a rural area. @scacharity@SCAS999@HelipadHELP
I think we spoke too soon about summer being over. It's been hot and sweaty, but that didn't stop the team helping with 106 incidents in June, including helping out where we could during the @SCAS999 major incident. Keep cool this month, we're still around to help where we can.
Is that summer over now, then? It was beautiful while it lasted! The team were out and about and able to assist with just under 100 incidents last month. Let's hope the sun comes back again soon! The team will be there to help where they can @SCAS999@scacharity
As part of our culture of wider international learning and development Enhanced Care Paramedic Jamie on unit ER201 has Belgium Critical Care Practitioner @CarlHaentjens out on a @BASICS_SCAS shift today in Sunny Portsmouth! @scacharity@BASICS_HQ@SCAS999@emtaccs
