I'm too pendejo to understand all this, but what I do understand is that Iran has been heavily sanctioned for a long time and, based on their military response, they have only become stronger. That's how I see this.

To take on the world's assumed best and biggest military and not lose and actually gain territory, is the best evidence that Iran can withstand whatever's coming.

Not to mention it strengthens their ties with the East.
