Stockport County legend Sam Walker will officially hang up the boots this weekend.

Walker's final season as a registered player will come to an end as his Halifax Town side (where Walker is assistant manager) travel to Woking on Saturday.

A pivotal part of County's National League North title win and a huge influence in a special group under Jim Gannon, Walker made over 100 appearances for The Hatters and scored 11 goals from midfield.

One of many who played a key role in getting County back into the Football League. 👏🎩
