@SeanDOlfc@Nabyllionaire Because Liverpool isn’t seen as a fashionable “brand”. It’s based in a small seaside town rife with poverty and no cultural impact in this era. Arsenal are the face of a cosmopolitan global city with huge cultural impacts on the rest of the world.
📝 𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗘: Igor Akinfeev has renewed his contract with CSKA until 2027.
It will be his 35th year with the club. Akinfeev's first training session at CSKA was at the age of 4, and now he has 929 career matches under his belt, 382 of which were clean sheets.
He was supposed to hang up his boots (and gloves) up after this season but has been persuaded to stay for one more campaign.
He's also a Football Manager legend for those who know.

If you’re ever in any doubt about how Jim White views football fans, it’s worth revisiting this clip. The most tone deaf thing you’ll ever see.
He sees all of us as muppets to be taken the piss out of.
The real reason Arsenal are hated:
We have something that cannot be bought or won…
A level of class and taste that can only be developed through experience.
The longest unbroken record in the top tier of English football and a history of discerning decisions balancing risk and tradition.
Chelsea, City, Liverpool & United cannot even dream of this level of class.
So they attack and mock… well enjoy the gutter boys, at least you can look up to the stars from down there.
This one.
I think the backlash against eastern Europeans was more profound in certain areas, often it was just easier and *more acceptable* to be seen to having a go about a Bulgarian being here than a Bangladeshi or Syrian
Should be remembered though perhaps the most memorable (or 2nd behind the bus) advert was Farage's 'breaking point' was which had hundreds of migrants on it
lot of stuff I'm seeing on here is very much "erm racism is illegal actually" coded and I'm not sure how effective it is with people who don't give a fuck
Henry's brutal murder and the failures of the police have been appalling.
His father's words are vital: "We don't want Henry's murder to be used to create further hatred, division or tension."
The story of Robbie Keane's likely move to Celtic is intriguing.
My guess is that Celtic want rid of their thug support element and this is as good a way as any to shake them off.
The current bedlam at the club cannot be palatable to big money sponsors, and must also be off-putting to many decent prospective players.
Wouldn't it be funny if it turns out that the BDS racists are more despised and distrusted than the Israelis whom they monster at every opportunity?
they've never been on the side of the Sikh community. Tommy Robinson is judged to be because his issue is very much with Islam. But for a lot of them, their issue is more generally with *foreigners*. And their definition of 'foreign' is errr yep
Yes. If players need rest then managers should rotate more. Fergie always seemed to do it.
Five subs is not easier on players anyway because it means the manager is more likely to set them up to be a lot more intense.
the Bernabeu hosted a Gridiron game last year and I remember some yanks on here being amazed that Madrid, as in the capital of Spain was able to have a stadium of that size & standard.
