It will be his 35th year with the club. Akinfeev's first training session at CSKA was at the age of 4, and now he has 929 career matches under his belt, 382 of which were clean sheets.

He was supposed to hang up his boots (and gloves) up after this season but has been persuaded to stay for one more campaign.

He's also a Football Manager legend for those who know.

The story of Robbie Keane's likely move to Celtic is intriguing.

My guess is that Celtic want rid of their thug support element and this is as good a way as any to shake them off.

The current bedlam at the club cannot be palatable to big money sponsors, and must also be off-putting to many decent prospective players.

Yes. If players need rest then managers should rotate more. Fergie always seemed to do it.

Five subs is not easier on players anyway because it means the manager is more likely to set them up to be a lot more intense.
