All in all, another classic 3/10 season for the rip roaring potters, who finish with a predictable whimper.
Bring on a summer of wholesale changes and an opening day ‘this is our season’ once again, eh. #scfc
That’s that for the 2025/26 season for Stoke. A season that promised a lot and ultimately finished exactly like every other seems to; nowhere.
Injuries have played a huge part but recruitment and lack thereof has too.
I dread to think where we’d be without Sorba Thomas.
It all feels a bit last days of Rome with him lashing out at individuals and slating players in the post-match interviews.
Couple that with the looming sword of needing to sell to buy every season and you can understand why fans are fed up.
@Bunnyduckmag We stayed in Qawra in April 2025. Lovely place and Valetta really great city; hilly but beautiful. Malta is very windy but nice weather. Affordable place & cheap to get around on buses with travel cards. Didn’t go to Gozo but was highly recommended to. Would recommend a trip!
@SenseiCarl_ just listening to this week’s patreon. Re: your finger, there’s likely an easy fix if pain is throbbing. Sounds horrible but a hot sterilized needle through the nail will release the excess blood and relieve pressure. Best in hospital but should work if still in pain
@WilsdorfAndreas OG career mode/manager mode fan here: sad to say but more recent versions have been a real disappointment. Saves lack depth & immersion & everything seems too many clicks away. Cut scenes in transfer/contract negotiations are painfully slow for one; put me off the mode entirely
@_DarkHorseFM I started a save recently in Scotland’s 4th tier with Clyde. Going in to the run-in I noticed the points total for two clubs must have meant there were some points deductions but the league table didn’t show anything about it and I had to google it! Where is all the data?!
@FPL_Barbossa I transferred out Rice (17) and Thiago (17) for Rogers (5) and Barry (6) so just the casual 29 point swing on that decision (benched Barry)😂
It’s been so long that I’ve felt this positive about this football club but seeing Steven Nzonzi score 10 years after leaving, with the club finally looking competitive in the Championship??
This just DOES something to me. Oh Steven Nzonzi ❤️🤍
🚨 @JacobsBen: "Stoke's Mark Robins is a manager who scores very highly in Johannes Spors' data-led recruitment. And Spors will be the one who takes the leading role [in the manager search." #saintsfc@talkSPORT
@ellis_platten aware you’re an FC Porto admirer, but is the demise of Porto’s other club, Boavista, an interesting one for Away Days? Former Portuguese champion now in 5th tier. Administratively relegated, same owner as similarly demoted Bordeaux. Ben Gibbs eating a Francesinha🥹
92 - Stoke City’s 92% win ratio against Wrexham in the Football League (11 wins in 12 meetings) is the second-best of any side in Football League history against an opponent they’ve faced 10+ times – only Manchester United vs Wigan Athletic (94%, 15 wins in 16 games) hold a higher ratio. Dominant. #OptaOnEFL
