To celebrate 70 years, @newscientist brought guests to the museum for a night that began on one of the UK's largest cinema screens and ended next to the Apollo 10 command module in the Space gallery. A night of big ideas, big screens and close encounters with space exploration.

Good events give people something to talk about. Great ones give them something to discover. We’ll be at the Event Agency Forum next month, sharing how experiences at the Science Museum bring people together through curiosity, conversation and a sense of wonder. @ForumEventsLtd

Forget the beige conference room. From headline presentations in IMAX: The Ronson Theatre and conferences in Illuminate to intimate VIP meetings in The Smith Centre and networking beneath iconic aircrafts in Flight, conference season at the museum comes with a side of curiosity.

Who says Christmas has to follow a familiar script? 🎄

To celebrate a company’s 40th anniversary, Illuminate became an immersive, 1980s-inspired Christmas party, complete with themed entertainment, interactive dining and a dancefloor that kept the party going all night!

Home to some of Britain's most significant machinery, this space tells the story of the power that transformed the world. By day, a gallery of engineering icons. By night, a reception space among the steam engines that powered the Industrial Revolution.

One museum. Thousands of students.

Each year, @imperialcollege takes over the entire museum for its Student Welcome Day, with exclusive access to galleries and event spaces across the venue. A full venue takeover. World-famous galleries. A memorable start to university life.

Not every venue brings iconic galleries, world-changing inventions and unforgettable spaces under one roof.
We’re bringing a taste of the Science Museum to the UVL Showcase at Somerset House on 6 October.
