@LaSalleEd How odd - When I selected them last night they didn't stay saved. However when I've checked this morning they have all saved! Thank you for clarifying!
@mathsteague @mathsjem@mrbartonmaths@Just_Maths @jemmaths Edexcel do provide some good materials for what they call "Access to foundation" which helps bridge that gap between KS3 and GCSE. I think anyone with a Pearson Edexcel account can access them. 2/2
@mathsteague @mathsjem@mrbartonmaths@Just_Maths @jemmaths Yes they do. We initially introduced it a few years back so that all pupils will leave with some form of certificate in maths, but all our pupils who do entry level go on to do their GCSE's. 1/2
@mathsteague @mathsjem@mrbartonmaths@Just_Maths @jemmaths We do the Edexcel Entry Level papers with certain Year 10 students. The test papers are test basic numeracy skills, however the "problem solving" aspect is a lot harder, but manipulatives an such can be used to aid students.
📢 Ok, get this...at @SparxMaths we've created the most AWESOME GCSE Crossover Workbooks (1 per strand) to support revision for those Qs that appear on both Foundation and Higher tiers. All you've got to do is like and retweet this and I'll send you your FREE copy next week 📢
