“To have awards that celebrate disabled people who are doing amazing things, it is crucial. It is even more important that the people without disabilities hear these stories.”
We’re delighted to share that @AdeAdepitan will host the 2026 Scope Awards 💜

There’s a long way to go, and The Traitors is by no means perfect.
But this series, we've seen Jessie treated with respect and dignity by the people around her.
And that's something we love to see, for all different conditions and impairments.

Positive disability representation is definite Faithful behaviour ❤
It’s so important for transforming attitudes, giving viewers a better understanding of the lives, talent, and potential of disabled people.

Disability Confident has the potential to break down some of the barriers disabled people face getting in and staying in work.
But the current scheme lacks the teeth to drive meaningful change.
Real reform must bring clear goals and real results.
The government plans to set time limits for entry‑level status, and give employers more support.
But there are concerns that self‑checks only show progress on paper, not in real life.
💬"It was nice just to be able to walk to somewhere where all our kids can play together.”
We love this! Children should be able to play together without barriers.
Accessible playgrounds can make a world of difference to children like Rupert 💜

Disabled people are being let down by our benefits system.
Life costs more if you're disabled. Disability benefits are a lifeline meant to help address this.
The government must get its administration right. Because disabled people are paying the price.

I hope this helps.

A new year doesn’t magically fix broken systems.
But 2026 is another opportunity to push for change together.
This year, we’ll keep standing up for disabled people’s rights. We'll keep challenging injustice. And keep making sure disabled voices are heard.
Flexible working isn’t just an attractive perk. It’s a vital area of support.
And it can help disabled people, carers, and those with fluctuating health to stay and thrive in work.
Flexibility needs to be the norm. Not the exception.
📣 Flexible working isn't a luxury.
But new research shows that workers with long-term health conditions are less likely to have access to it.
Even though flexibility can make the difference between staying in a job or being forced out of work entirely.

@GreenWorldJoy@TowerHamletsNow Hi again,
It is best to continue reporting this fly tipping to the council. We are unable to remove fly tipping as we do not hold the necessary licensing. We attend the bank 3 times each week, and will continue doing so.
❄️ Our team is logging off for our holiday break, and we’ll be back on Monday 5 January.
📞 This time of year can be happy and joyful. But it can also be difficult. If you need some support, there are people you can speak to ⬇️
