NCERT's new textbook now cites the Manusmriti, a text which was once burnt by Ambedkar & Periyar for its evil literature against Shudras & women, while discussing the status of women in ancient India, and describes the Vedic period as one in which women were accorded a "high and respectful position" in society. Lol.

It also attempts to sanitise the evil Varna System of Hinduism by suggesting that the four varnas were originally conceived as functional categories and only gradually became associated with fixed social roles.

This anti-women, anti-life, dehumanising text is now being introduced into school education.

Looks like Fauzi is yet another hyper-nationalistic film steeped in Brahminical ideology, evident from the lead actor wearing the janeu.

Such movies intent is to glorify the caste system & other regressive practices, such as wearing janeu; plant in the minds of dominant castes to derive a sense of superiority not from personal achievements, but purely from birth.

In doing so, they're reinforcing the rigid graded inequality called caste system, making life even more miserable for oppressed communities.
