A year ago I hinted as to what I've been quietly building this last few years. So on my way to @CES I thought it appropriate to make it public. Several of our portfolio Companies are exhibiting so come say hi 👋

The next chapter isn’t quiet anymore, we’re ready to make some noise!

I'M COMING BACK...
It’s been 5 years since I sold Scuf Gaming and 3 years since I stepped down as CEO. While I’ve taken time to recharge, start a family, and enjoy life outside of the grind, I’ve been quietly busy in the background — learning, creating, investing, and preparing for my next chapter.

Over the past few years, I’ve had a lot of enjoyment working with companies in their infancy, helping Founders shape their visions and financially backing them to help evolve those ideas. I’ve partnered with innovative teams to include Otherweb, Haply Robotics, NexTide, CTRL. I've taken seats on several boards, and led investment rounds for exciting ventures. And Co-founded an Incubator Fund for Impact Start-ups.

I’ve also spent time reflecting on the incredible journey I had with SCUF. Co-Founding and building something from the ground up was a special experience, and I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with so many wonderful people along the way. From the talented team who helped make SCUF what it is today to the partners and passionate community who believed in our vision. The lessons, friendships, and experiences from those years continue to shape everything I do today.

With my 5 year non-compete behind me, I’m focused on the future. What comes next will be my most exciting chapter yet.

Stay tuned.

Sooo much fun to have @GamerGripUSA Team supporting @PPAtour in Atlanta with GamerGrip Racquet & Paddle edition.

Gamer Grip taking over the @PPAtour 🏆

[Duncan Ironmonger @SCUFDunc]

Really proud to see this go live.

When I strategically invested in Hitmarker, the vision was clear - build more than a job board.

The gaming industry has its own culture, pace, and expectations. Having built SCUF Gaming and hired thousands over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how fragmented hiring is - and how generic tools don’t work here.

Hitmarker already had the trust of millions. What it needed was the infrastructure.

Huge credit to the team for delivering Hitmarker Pro.

Big step forward. Just the start. 🧡
